Ao Manao.

We slept well last night in the Royal Pavilion Hua Hin in Hua Hin.
Pia is still quite bothered by a cold.
Breakfast is just as reasonable as yesterday.

This morning we decide to go to Ao Manoa in Prachuap Khiri Khan, a beautiful beach that can only be reached via an air base.
We leave at a quarter past nine; once we leave Hua Hin, the road is quiet. Pia wants to visit a temple on a mountain in Prachuap first, Wat Khao Chong Krachok, and that means climbing a few hundred steps and braving hordes of monkeys.
After asking around, we find a monkey-free parking spot behind the provincial government building, and then we begin the climb. Tom gives up after the first stage, short of breath, and sits down at the entrance of the provincial government building. Pia bravely continues climbing and also reaches the top.

After the climb, we drive to Ao Manao, on the edge of town. We find a shady parking spot and a few beach chairs in the shade as well. Pia goes for a dip, having brought dry clothes, and Tom stays comfortably in the shade.
We order some food, which arrives after a while, and it tastes decent, though a bit salty. After about three hours, we've had enough and drive back to Hua Hin.

Back in Hua Hin, we have a drink at Sea Side Restaurant Hua-Hin; we suspect it's under new ownership.
And we don't feel like eating at the night market; it's crowded and hot, but we're not sure what we would like.
Finally, we decide to eat at Hua Hin Italian-Thai Restaurant, where we have another delicious meal, this time in the air-conditioned room.
